Diamond FPGA works in tandem with Diamond DSP to add the fine grain parallelism of FPGAs to your design. Now you can directly harness the processing power that FPGAs offer and connect FPGA tasks to the rest of the system. Diamond will even allow you to use the FPGAs on the most Sundance DSP TIMs, by automatically adding your tasks to the standard Sundance firmware.
Tasks are created in VHDL or tools such like Xilinx System Generator® or Celoxica's DK suite. They can also be provided as standard netlists files. Diamond automatically adds the logic to allow your tasks to communicate with other tasks then builds a bitstreams with the standard Xilinx ISE tools.
Diamond supports most of the Sundance's high-speed ADC and DAC modules that often contain an FPGA, so you can build state of the art systems with very high performance in a very little time.

The output of Diamond is a single application file that contains everything needed to load all processors in your system automatically. The application will load the DSPs and reconfigure the FPGAs, and get your system running.
