Confidence test

BoardInfo can perform a simple test of the TIM in a carrier board's first slot. The test involves sending a small program to the TIM and confirming that two-way communication can be established using the host ComPort.

During the test, the "Result" output window displays information that shows:

• if the DSP application was successfully sent to the DSP (meaning that the DSP read all of the application file);
• if the DSP application started running;
• the results of a data transfer test.
