Embedded World 2026 Round-Up
Embedded World is always a highlight of the year for Sundance, and this year’s event was no different! Over the three days, it was great seeing so many people attend and see the various Sundance features throughout the event.
Sundance’s main feature for the event came on the OpenSystems Media stand, showcasing the SMT135-C with the VCS³ also on display. Sundance FPGA specialist Chris Bowers was on hand throughout the event, with the SMT135-C being the main focus. Chris led a technical session for the board, giving attendees an insight into the capabilities of the board. Anyone who attended the session had the chance to enter a giveaway to win an SMT135-C.
The technical session was very popular, with lots stopping by to see the demonstration and enter the giveaway. The session ended with the giveaway winner being announced.
We are pleased to announce that the SMT135-C giveaway was won by Michal Hrušecký.
Speaking to Michal, he has been looking to get an FPGA for years and is excited to experiment and learn with his new board, looking to integrate network traffic somehow.
Sundance could be seen across the event with features on both the Trenz Electronic stand and the TRS-STAR stand. Featuring on our German distributors’ stand, the VCS³ 3D Kit was on display alongside TEN new FPGA-based platforms from Trenz. For Sundance’s third feature at Embedded World, the SMT135-C was on display on the TRS-STAR stand.
