The MIMO_LTE platform supports the design and development of a wide range of MIMO applications.
The MIMO_LTE can be used for SDR research, MIMO development, Multichannel radio transceivers, Military & public safety telecoms, Wireless cellular prototypes, Waveform implementation, etc.
The MIMO_LTE comprises a C6455-based DSP module (SMT362) and a dual MIMO RF module(SMT911) coupled with an FPGA base module (SMT351T-SX50T). The modules are plugged onto a Stand-Alone Carrier (SMT148-FX-ATX) with USB and Ethernet connectors to the outside world.
- Dual radio MIMO transceiver card for 2.4 – 2.5 GHz & 5.15 – 5.875 GHz bands; compliant with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n specifications with 64 QAM modulation
- Xilinx Virtex-5 SXT50 & Virtex-4 FX60 (plus another Virtex-4 FX60 on SMT148-FX) FPGAs for pre- and post-processing
- Two High-performance 1GHz ‘C6455 Fixed Point DSPs for processing tasks
