The VF365 is a high‑performance 3U OpenVPX FPGA‑DSP processor module designed to meet the demands of computation‑ and bandwidth‑intensive applications across defence, aerospace, industrial, and networking markets.

Next‑Generation Architecture

At the core of the VF365 is a powerful combination of the Intel® Arria® 10 SoC FPGA and the Texas Instruments KeyStone™ multicore DSP. This tightly integrated architecture delivers ultra‑high bandwidth processing while maintaining flexibility for both hardware‑accelerated and software‑defined workloads.

The Arria 10 SoC provides abundant logic resources, on‑chip memory, and floating‑point DSP capability, making it ideal for real‑time signal processing and data‑intensive applications. Complementing this, the hard processor system (HPS) features a dual‑core ARM® Cortex‑A9 MPCore™ processor with cache, system peripherals, and dedicated memory interfaces, all connected to the FPGA via high‑speed AXI bridges.

Notably, the company’s VF370 module was selected for Saab’s IDAS‑310 Integrated Defensive Aids Suite, now deployed across multiple aircraft and helicopter platforms in over 15 countries.

 

Flexible I/O and System Integration

When paired with Etion Create or third‑party FPGA Mezzanine Cards (FMCs), the VF365 supports a wide range of high‑bandwidth I/O configurations via the industry‑standard VITA 57 connector. High‑speed interfaces including PCIe, Serial RapidIO (SRIO), and AXI ensure efficient data movement throughout the system.
